Foolish Man

'It is of my distinct opinion that only spiritual laws can explain this universe. This is a spiritual world, which is why the scientist never manages to get through to the root of things.

The educated scientist deals only with things he can see and touch and taste and experiment with, but he does not know why they hold together. He mixes two chemicals and a certain action takes place, and he writes about it and says, "Where is God?" God is making you do that. God is holding it together.

The scientist says that a star in 2,510 years and 20 minutes will be in such and such a position. Then he says, "Now, I've one it. I have run God out of His world. I can predict where the stars will be." The scientist acts as though he has put those stars in the sky.

Foolish man. The stars would never be anything but dust expect God runs the whole show and did the whole business. God upholds all things by the word of His power.

... "Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth (Isa. 40:26)."'
