Christ was Born

Christ was born, this world to save
For mortal men He came.
Chose He to bear the bloody cross
And fill the sorry grave.

Christ was born, new life to give
When we deserv'ed none.
With pity great and mercy large
He came so we might live.

Christ was born, yet here we are
As sinful as before.
Repeated sinners,  come to Christ
To cast your wrongs afar.

Christ was born, this world to save
For mortal men He came.
With pierc'ed hands He pleads our cause
And saves us from the grave.
