Faith without Floaties

Just as Peter's faith faltered in Matthew 14 in the midst of the wind and waves, we are often found at fault in matters of trust. Christ beckons us to come to sea and promises our safe passage. We hold back, fearful. He asks for our complete confidence. We bring floaties, just in case.

Faith does not need a backup plan. Complete trust in the Lord of heaven and earth is sufficient.
